An unConference unlike any other

The 2014 MassTLC unConference is a conference unlike any other. An iterative mashup of thought leaders, experts, and budding entrepreneurs. There’s no agenda, no pre-planned format. It’s entirely up to you. Join us for this year’s MassTLC unConference.

Improvised and Interactive Sessions

If you guessed that our unConference is a place where people gather and exchange ideas in a relaxed and unfiltered manner with no pre-set agenda, you are right. But it’s so much more!.
We’ve incorporated the best of both worlds by asking that you crowd source your idea ahead of time by submitting it on our Idea Scale. Why? What better way to start the dialogue, get others’ insights, and possibly have an opportunity to build on your session with others before the day even begins.
And not to worry, the same rules we’ve used over the past six years still apply. If you are in a session and it’s not what you thought it would be, don’t fret, just find another. Or start another. Even if it was your session idea. No hard feelings. This day is about you and what you can get out of it.
In the course of the day, there are more than 100 sessions at Innovation 2014, lead by individuals who showed up that morning and presented their ideas to the masses.

One-on-One mentoring

Why is this unConference unlike any other? The mentoring program. We invite 100 thought leaders who have excelled in the tech industry and ask them to give one hour of their time to aspiring entrepreneurs.

All entrepreneurs who have a solid idea and/or product and have begun the process of starting a business are invited to apply to be a part of this experience. If you are accepted, on the morning of the event you make you way to the expert wall where you see the names of those mentoring and the times they have available. You may choose up to three experts to meet with on a 1:1 basis. Keep in mind, this is about getting help and advice, this is a NO PITCH ZONE!

Connections

Even with all of the sessions and the mentoring program, the hallways never seem to be still. If you are looking to meet like-minded people to talk with, work with, work for or just to grab a beer, then this is the place to be.
